                                        Market Summary

USDA reported steers lower with hfs steady. Health problems in Midwest had some effects on shipping cfs west. Always a problem in fall with the weather transition to colder temperatures. One good fact is that numbers are lower, and lots of moisture in the panhandle and Oklahoma. Local grazers have received rain with oats and rye grass up and growing. Interest will remain strong throughout the remainder of the year. Packer cows were lower but don't panic lower numbers will rally the market in next 2 weeks. Long age cows that normally would go to kill are going back to the farm.

Remember "A MAN WITH A  GOOD COW HERD IS REALLY NEVER BROKE!!!
